DAILY DOCUMENTARY

"In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject. The little, human detail can become a Leitmotiv."

Your eye must see a composition or an expression that life itself offers you, and you must know with intuition WHEN to click the camera."
Henri Cartier - Bresson
Life is an adventure in itself. It can be sometimes stranger than fiction. As long as we are willing to take the time to look for the extra ordinary in the ordinary. One of my photography heroes Henri Cartier-Bresson - master of candid photography - says it this way: "It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera ... they are made with the eye, heart and head."

I came to love and embrace 'Documentary Photography' because there’s no premeditating the outcome of any given moment. It is a Joy to capture the moments as they evolve in front of you. It is liberating to come to 'Life on scene' without a proposed agenda, the pressure of having to shoot 'must-have-photos'. Embracing life as it comes, with its beautiful, but also difficult moments.
