"In photography, the smallest thing
can be a great subject.
The little, human detail can become a Leitmotiv."
Your eye must see a composition or an expression that life itself offers you, and you must know with intuition WHEN to click the camera."
Henri Cartier - Bresson
Life is an adventure in itself. It can be sometimes stranger than fiction. As long as we are willing to take the time to look for the extra ordinary in the ordinary. One of my photography heroes Henri Cartier-Bresson

says it this way: "It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera ... they are made with the eye, heart and head."
I came to love and embrace 'Documentary Photography' because there’s no premeditating the outcome of any given moment. It is a Joy
to capture the moments as they evolve in front of you. It is liberating to come to 'Life on scene' without a proposed agenda, the pressure of having to shoot 'must-have-photos'. Embracing life as it comes, with its beautiful, but also difficult moments.

Beside the Dutch flag (upside down) - quite some villages affected by the government's policy - are supporting farmers by a sign stating 'Proud of the Farmer' ... #farmers-protest #docu-style
This kind of unreal scene made me pause - Elvis adored by women on one site, versus a Muslim lady waiting on the tram in the other frame ... and then there is the Pink Flamingo ...
Watched this clock maker in Togo for awhile, while carefully working on some old watches. First time in my 20+ time in Africa that I came across a clock maker. #true-craftsmanship
This split frame of a Jewelry store with all the bells and whistles (right) - vs the simplicity of a local shop (left) just hit me. The contrast could not be bigger ...
Streets in Spain have so many beautiful patterns, colors ... my eyes were fixed on the top floor - when this shop visitor came out and walked into my frame ...
